“My son, Jakob (age 10), had his first session at Camp Energy on Wednesday. He had an amazing time and when I asked him to give it a score between 1 and 10, he gave it 105! We shall certainly be using Camp Energy in the future holidays. ” – Jakob’s Mum
“I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all the team at Summerfields this week – particularly Kayleigh who was put in special charge of Jim. Because of Jim’s diabetes it’s the first time I’ve let him do Camp Energy. Not only did he love all the activities, but your team were brilliant at looking after him and confidence-inspiring from the start. His blood sugar levels were near-perfect when he returned on both days – a serious achievement after all that exercise! Please pass on my heartfelt thanks. I’m sure you will be seeing more of Jim! ” – E.H.

“I wanted to contact you on behalf of both my daughter Aline and myself to thank you for the wonderful time that Aline has had at Camp Energy. She has been coming to the camp for three years and has got to know the staff very well, whom she always found friendly and approachable. She would always eagerly anticipate the school holidays as she looked forward to coming to camp, particularly enjoying the swimming. Not only has she had the opportunity to take part in new and existing challenges – such as kayaking and rock climbing – but she has also developed as a person – the events and activities at Camp Energy have helped her become more self assured and self-confident and she has developed her team working and leadership skills too. Aline will really miss the camp and we hope to catch up with you at some point in the future when we return to the UK.” – K.R. 2013
“Our son (5 years) loved Camp Energy and came home everyday full of good things to say about what he had done. One great thing about Camp Energy is the continuity of staff which made going back each time such a pleasure.” – P.K. 2013
“Since Barry Grinham visited Amber many years ago, he and Prime Energy Fitness have provided Amber’s young people with some wonderful opportunities, through both the donation of excellent fitness equipment and sponsoring them on Rona Sailing Project trips.
Amber ‘s residential centres give disadvantaged unemployed homeless young people the chance to transform their lives for the better so they have a future where work and a home of their own become a reality for them and not just other people. An important part of a young person’s development at Amber is regaining an interest in and improving their fitness which in turn improves their health, and the gym equipment plays such an important role in helping them to do that and because the equipment is at Amber centres, the young people can use it during any of their free time. The Rona Sailing Project is also a test of fitness and a wonderful opportunity for the young people to experience something completely new, improve their confidence and self-esteem and it has even been known to open the door to a future career working with boats.
Amber, and in particular the young people, are extremely grateful to Barry for his wonderful support and his commitment to helping the young people transform their lives.”

“Alex normally hates activity camps, but he loves this one. He likes the variety of the activities, but most of all he likes the staff. He was sad he was leaving at the end of the week…a first for us.” S.F. Oxford

“May I thank you most profusely for all your help and support for the 2014 Kirtlington Village Quiz held last Friday 28th February. Although I am yet to confirm the final figure as I am awaiting the bar proceeds, I believe the profit will be in excess of £1600.00…It is most gratifying again to have your financial assistance with the quiz and indeed your generosity is well known in the village…I believe that the general feeling was that it was successful although it would not be the quiz without some light banter as to the validity of the questions!” T.S.
